Emergency plumbing FAQs
How fast can you actually get here?+
Our crews are based in the valley, so most calls in Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee, Lake Elsinore and Wildomar get a truck within the hour. When you call, we give you a real arrival window based on where the nearest crew is right now, not a scripted promise.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?+
Anything actively leaking, flooding, backing up or leaving you without water counts: a leaking water heater, a burst pipe, sewage coming up a drain, a toilet that will not stop, a slab leak, no water to the house. If you are asking yourself whether it is an emergency, call and we will tell you honestly. If it can wait for a normal appointment, we will say so.
My water heater is leaking. What do I do right now?+
Close the cold water valve on the pipe entering the top of the tank. If it is a gas heater, turn the gas control to OFF. If it is electric, flip its breaker. Do not drain the tank yourself and do not touch pooled water near an electric heater. Then call us. A leaking tank rarely gets better and often lets go all at once.
My house is flooding. What are the first steps?+
Shut the main water valve, keep people and pets away from outlets and appliances, and move what you can to dry ground. Take photos as you go, your insurance adjuster will want them. We stop the source first, then extract water and document the damage for your claim.
How much does an emergency plumber cost?+
You get a written quote before any work starts, at your door, based on the actual problem. No mystery hourly meter. Bigger jobs like repipes and water heater replacements can be financed, OAC. Stopping the immediate leak is often far cheaper than people fear; the expensive part is usually the water damage from waiting.
Do you charge more at night or on weekends?+
Emergency work is quoted the same way at 2 AM as at 2 PM: a flat written price before we start. You will never discover a surprise multiplier on the invoice. That is the point of being an emergency plumber.
Will my homeowners insurance cover the damage?+
Sudden and accidental water damage, like a burst pipe or failed water heater, is covered by most policies. Slow leaks you knew about usually are not. We photograph everything, write up the cause of loss and hand you documentation your adjuster can work with.
Do you offer financing?+
Yes. Water heater replacements, repipes and other big repairs can be financed on approved credit, with terms explained before you sign anything. An emergency should not have to wait on a paycheck.
