Wildomar and La Cresta FAQs
Do you really come up to La Cresta at night?+
Yes. The grade up Clinton Keith is part of our route, not an excuse. Give us your gate code when you call and tell us about the driveway; long private drives and dirt sections are normal up there and our trucks handle them fine.
We lost water and we are on a well. Plumber or well company?+
Start with us. Most sudden no-water calls are the pressure tank, the pressure switch or a break in the line between the well and the house, and we handle all of those. If it is the pump down the bore, we tell you straight and you bring in a well driller for that one piece.
Can pipes actually freeze up here?+
On the plateau, yes. Clear winter nights at 2,000 feet drop below freezing, and exposed hose bibs, barn lines and above-ground well plumbing split first. If a pipe is frozen, do not torch it; shut the water, open a faucet and call. We also insulate the usual victims so next winter is boring.
Our water bill doubled but we see no leak. Now what?+
On acreage that usually means a buried line is leaking somewhere between the meter and the house, or an irrigation valve is stuck. Check the meter with everything off; if it moves, call. We isolate section by section and pinpoint before anyone digs.
Do you work on septic systems?+
We handle the house side: clearing and repairing the line to the tank and diagnosing backups. Pumping the tank itself is a pumper truck job, and we will tell you which one you need before anyone spends money.
